“As a small child sewing held a fascination for me, luckily my mother encouraged me to learn to use her sewing machine and from this has stemmed a lifetime addiction!
Its been a great pleasure throughout my teaching career to observe my learners create some truly beautiful pieces, introducing them to a hobby that will stay with them always, and others using the skills learned to start successful businesses. Anyone and everyone can be inspired to sew like I was all those years ago, age is no barrier.
Imagine looking around your home or opening your wardrobe and seeing truly individual pieces that no one in the world has.
The sense of achievement that comes upon looking at a finished item is still just as rewarding now, as it was back when I was a child. Just as gratifying, is watching someone else achieve this too.
In joining one of my courses your confidence will grow alongside your skill set and technical ability.
Over the years I’ve invested a lot of time in my learners and I fell in love with helping others achieve as strongly as I fell in love with my first sewing machine. What started as a hobby grew into a passion and now I’m lucky enough to have a job I truly love.”
